It’s almost impossible to discuss graphics software without first establishing an understanding of the difference between the two major 2D graphics types. Computer graphics fall into two main categoriesBitmap and Vector. You can  work with both type of graphics in Photoshop, moreover, a Photoshop file can contain both Bitmap and Vector data. Understanding the difference between the two categories helps you create, edit and import artwork.

About Bitmap Images

Bitmap images technically called Raster Images are made up of a grid of dot known as pixels. Pixels are picture element; tiny dots of individual color that make up what you see on your screen. All there tiny dots of color come together to form the image you see. the typical computer monitor has 72 or96 pixel per inch,depending on your monitor and screen setting. When working with Bitmap images, you edit pixels rather than object or shapes. Bitmap images are the  most common electronic medium for continuous-tone image such as Photographs or Digital painting,because the can represent subtle gradations of shades and color.

Bitmap images can lose detail when scaled on screen because they are resolution dependent,they contain a fixed number of pixels,and each pixel is assigned a specific location and color value.Bitmap images can look jagged if they’re printed at too low a resolution because the size of each pixel is increased.

Vector graphics are made up of mathematically defined lines and curves called vector.This means that you can move, resize, or change the color of a line without losing the quality of graphics. As a result, vector graphics are the best choice representing bold graphics that must retain crisp lines when scaled to various size (logos,for example).

Vector graphics have many advantages, but the primary disadvantage is that they’re unsuitable for producing photo-realistic imaginary.Vector graphics are usually made up of solid areas of color or gradients,but they cannot depict the continuous subtle tone of a photograph. That’s why most of the vector graphics you see tend to have a cartoon like appearance.

1. Rip DVDs


VLC includes a basic DVD ripper. You probably would never use it when there are better DVD rippers available, but it helps to know that you can in fact, get a decent quality DVD rip with VLC. To rip a movie follow these steps: Go to the Media menu and choose Convert–>Save. Click on the Disc tab.

-- Here you can adjust the Starting Position and rip only specific titles or chapters.
-- Enter file name making sure to end with .MPG, and start ripping.
-- Click Save.

2. Record Videos


With the new VLC, you can record videos during playback. The record button is hidden by default. To see it, click on View–>Advanced Control. The record button will now appear. Clicking on the button while playing a movie or video will start recording. Cliking again will stop recording.

3. Play RAR files


Do you know VLC can play videos zipped inside RAR files? They play like normal video files and you can even use the seek bar. If the RAR file is split into several files, no problem. Just load the first part (.part001.rar ) and it will automatically take the rest of the parts and play the whole file.

4. Play in ASCII Mode


VLC media player has an amusing ability, to playback movies in ASCII art. To enable ASCII mode, open VLC media player and click on Tools –>Preferences. Open the section “Video” section and under “Output” select “Color ASCII art video output” from the drop down menu. Save it. Now play any video file to enjoy the ASCII art.

5. Listen to Online Radio


VLC includes hundreds of Shoutcast Radio Stations. You just need to enable it through Media –>Services Discovery –> Shoutcast radio listings. Now, open the Playlist and browse through the stations.

6. Convert Audio and Video Formats


In VLC you can convert video and audio files from one format to another. Several different formats are supported like MP4, WMV, AVI, OGG, MP3 etc. To access the converter:
-- Go to Media –>Convert/Save.
-- Load the file you want to convert using the Add button and click Convert.
-- Now choose the output format and output file location.

7. Download YouTube and Other Online Videos


First grab the URL of the YouTube video page. Now click on Media –>Open Network Stream. Paste the URL and click Play.
Once VLC starts streaming the video, click Tools –>Codec Information and at the bottom of the window you will see a Location box. Copy the URL and paste it on your browser’s address bar. The browser will now download the file which you can save it to your hard disk. Alternatively, you can record the video.

Friends Here is one trick from that you can make folder of size 0KB and this
can't delete anybody.

Following are the some steps for it:

1)Make new folder and rename it as 'personal'

2)Copy any size of data and paste inside the folder

3)Open notebook and type 'cacls personal /e /p everyone:n' (without qouts).

4)Save it as lock.bat

5)Again open new notepad and type 'cacls personal /e /p everyone:f '

6)Save it as unlock.bat

Remember that Both .bat file should save in the same directory of the folder name 'personal'

7)After of all just run lock.bat file and you can see that our 0KB folder is ready.

8)For the unlock you can unlock it by running unlock.bat file.

This folder neither delete any one after running lock.bat nor rename it.

You can Hide your both bat files.
